Amorgos Heritage Routes

The project includes the design of a thematic tourist product for the Municipality of Amorgos. Specifically, in the context of the service, the following were delivered to the Municipality:

• Feasibility study for the development of a thematic tourist product under the name “Amorgos Heritage Route”.
• Proposal for expansion – enhancing of the existing Tourist Network of Routes of Cultural Interest.
• Recording – Evaluation Reports for each Route in order to identify the shortcomings for easy access, signage in accordance with the current legislation and ensuring optimal connectivity of the Touring Network with the surrounding network of settlements and services.
• Exhibition of interconnection of the Touring Network with the local economy and the possibilities of an integrated spatial development with the aim of preserving the landscape and highlighting the special agricultural heritage of the island.
