On Friday 1 March, the Aegean Energy and Environmental Agency (AEGEA), in cooperation with the DAFNI Network and the support of the Municipality of Paros, organized an informative workshop on the energy upgrade of tourist units.
The workshop was dedicated to the energy upgrading of tourist units in line with the new directives for Near Zero Energy Efficiency Buildings (nZEB).
The event analysed the legislative framework on nZEB as well as technical and financing solutions for the energy upgrading of the tourist units. Special mention was made to the forthcoming upgrading of the Municipal Hostel in Lefkes, Paros, with the technical support of the Aegean Energy & Environment Agency under HAPPEN.
The participants included representatives of local government, local stakeholders as well as professionals involved in the design, renovation and energy upgrading of buildings.
