An AEGEA initiative for the training of executives on energy planning, energy economy and technology issues in the islands.
Training program for island local government executives on energy issues in the form of Distance Education (e-learning). In 3 years 2012-13-14, 200 students participated. A network of ENERGY RESPONSIBLES (local government councilors) was created through the program. The aim of the Energy Academy was to create specialized executives in local government and professionals in the local community, in matters of energy planning, renewable energy sources and saving, so as to be able to meet the requirements of the European climate and energy targets 2020 at the local level.
